What I Learned from a Library Book

"What I Learned from a Library Book" is a library acitivity where after a student reads a book, they can fill out a sheet writing what they learned from the book. The slips are put up on the library wall and an entry ticket goes into the bi-weekly drawing for a prize.

Scholastic Book Fair

Come support the Library Media Center. All profits will be used to purchase books for the library.

Thank you for all of you that came and purchased books from the book fair. The library was able to purchase just over 200 new books with the profits earned from the book fair. Thank you again. Keep a look out for the new books to arrive.

One For Books

One for Books was a huge success!!! $404.00 dollars was donated for One for Books.

This means that our library will have $404.00 dollars to buy library books and Scholastic will donate a total of 404 books to the three non-profit organizations listed below. Thank you to all who donated to this wonderful cause.

One for Books is a Scholastic promtion that is in conjunction with the book fair. For every dollar donated to our library, Scholastic will give the money to our library to buy books and they will donate one book per dollar to one of three non-profit organizations (Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., the National Center for Family Literacy, and Marine Toysd for Tots Foundation).
