One For Books

One for Books was a huge success!!! $404.00 dollars was donated for One for Books.

This means that our library will have $404.00 dollars to buy library books and Scholastic will donate 404 books to the three non-profit organizations listed below. Thank you to all who donated to this wonderful cause.

One for Books is a Scholastic promtion that is in conjunction with the book fair. For every dollar donated to our library, Scholastic will give the money to our library to buy books and they will donate one book per dollar to one of three non-profit organizations (Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., the National Center for Family Literacy, and Marine Toysd for Tots Foundation).

If you would like to donate to One for Books Please come visit the book fair or send in money with your child. Your child will also be entered into a drawing for posters to be held after Thanksgiving break.
